Donations
The Book "From Nobel Prize to Ride-on mower" is dedicated to all the abused children of the world, whether they are four years old or seventy five. Abuse comes in many forms and it makes deep scars that may never heal. Of course, we need to help "adult children" who are still wounded, but above all we need to prevent children from being abused in the first place.
Therefore, 10% of the net profit from the book is donated to UNICEF for their child program against violence, exploitation and abuse. UNICEF is working in 160 countries and has an admirably long record.
White Ribbon Day Organisation
Gunilla Miranda is actively supporting the White Ribbon Day Organisation through several activities during the year such as morning teas, donations of books and coaching sessions.White Ribbon Day is the International day declared by United Nations for the elimination of violence against women.
